Infinitely rotating carousel
Physically-based interactive particles
infinite wheel Menu
One of the features being built for the University of Michigan’s Alumni Association Immersion Room was an interface with a rotary menu. The amount of content to be displayed was still to be determined, so I created a solution that would allow for an infinitely rotating carousel with any amount of sub-sections. It’s like a pie with potentially infinite slices.
Each section, when selected, opens up three sub-menus.
Touch tracking
Another feature I built involves tracking a user’s touch to move physically-based particles around like grains of sand. The way real grains of sand move around isn’t particularly interesting so there’s a bit of force added to it here. The force is accelerated based on length of touch to create a more organic feeling of exerting energy.
